Habitat - Enriching the Conventional Overworld Dimension

Habitat is a Minecraft modification built on the Forge platform, designed to fundamentally transform the standard game dimension of Overworld. The main objective of this project is to enrich existing biomes with diverse new content, as well as subsequently add completely new ecological zones.

Added Elements

Currently, the modification includes the following additions:

Botanical Additions

• Rafflesia — appears exclusively in tropical jungle biomes, creating the atmosphere of a genuine tropical forest
• Kabloom Bush and its fruits — found only in plains biomes, adding diversity to flora
• Slime Ferns — generate below Y=40 level in special slime chunks, creating underground ecosystems
• Ball Cacti — available in four different color variations, decorate desert biomes and badlands

Animals and Mystical Elements

• Fairy Ring and Pooka — mystical element of dark forests with the unique Pooka mob (mushroom rabbit), creating a mysterious atmosphere
• Passerine birds — diverse songbirds inhabiting various types of forests, birch groves, taiga, jungles, flower forests, savannas and hilly territories (including old growth and windswept variants)

Compatibility with Other Modifications

Expanding Capabilities

Enhanced Mushrooms: When installed together with this mod, the fairy ring mushroom stem is replaced with a version compatible with Enhanced Mushrooms stems, allowing for creating complete fairy ring mushroom wood sets. Additional blocks become available for crafting when Quark and Buzzier Bees are installed. Crafting support with Environmental and Farmer's Delight is also implemented.

Farmer's Delight: Fairy ring mushrooms work as compost activators, integrating into the agricultural mechanics of the modification.

Abnormals Core: Advancement modifiers are loaded, thanks to which added food, effects, and mobs count toward completing various game achievements.
