By becoming a vampire, you'll discover a completely new playstyle. As you progress, you'll unlock increasingly powerful abilities:

Dangers of Vampire Life
Although vampires are practically immortal, they have their weaknesses. Deadly dangers for them include:
- Sunlight
- Wooden weapons
- Anti-undead spells

How to Become a Vampire
Create the Book of Blood to learn more about vampirism: simply combine a book and an awkward potion in the crafting table.
To transform into a vampire, find vampire blood in dungeons, temples, or from village clerics. Then create a vampire blood injector and use it on yourself while having the Strength II effect.
Vampire Survival
Vampires don't experience hunger in the usual sense - they need blood. Feed by crouching and right-clicking on mobs. Some creatures provide better blood than others.
Warning: feeding from awake villagers may attract vampire hunters!
Ability Development
Enhance your vampire powers with the Ritual Altar:
To see all available rituals, right-click on the ritual table with the Book of Blood in your hand!

Frequently Asked Questions
How to configure Haema?
Gameplay can be configured through game rules and datapack tags. Separate client configuration is available through ModMenu.
How to return to human form?
If you became a vampire through Origins, you can only return through this mod (for example, using the Orb of Origin or the /origin command), and the process completes only after death.
If you used the injector, you'll need an empty injector and a weakness potion to transform back.
