Haemorrhage
Requirements: The mod requires Fabric API, Cloth Config, and Unremovable Effects. Forge users need Sinytra Connector.
Important: Version 1.20.2 is no longer supported.
About the Mod
Haemorrhage introduces four new status effects (Bleeding, Bleedout, Broken, and Health Loss) along with various healing items. These effects activate on the player after taking damage. Bleeding is the most common effect, with its duration depending on the damage taken and the player's armor protection level.
Configuration
Configuration files are located in the 'imbleeding' folder. The main settings file (imbleeding.json) can be accessed through Mod Menu. To configure bleeding protection provided by different armor types, use the armor_bleed_prot_values.json file (if this file is not visible, launch Minecraft, join any world, and then exit).
Datapacks
You can exclude specific mobs from applying the Bleeding effect and select items that remove this mod's effects.
Effects and Items
Status Effects:
- Bleeding - deals 0.5 health per tick and blocks natural healing from food. If health drops to 0.5 or below, Bleedout effect activates instead of dealing damage
- Bleedout - reduces maximum health by 12 points and kills the player if they have Bleeding effect AND Bleedout duration exceeds 1 minute 30 seconds
- Broken - reduces movement speed similar to Slowness effect and prevents sprinting
- Health Loss - decreases maximum health by 2 points per effect level
Healing Items:
- Bandage - heals 2 health and removes Bleeding
- Sticky Bandage - faster use time, same effects as regular Bandage
- Honey Bandage - heals 5 health, removes: Bleeding, Health Loss, and Poison
- Soaked Bandage - applies status effect (similar to tipped arrows)
- Herbal Balm - heals 3 health and reduces the level and duration of Bleeding and Health Loss
- Splint - replaces Broken effect with Slowness
