Hand Over Your Items (Legacy Fabric)

Hand Over Your Items (Legacy Fabric)

This mod requires the Collective (Fabric) library and Fabric API.

Note: This is the legacy version for Fabric 1.16 and 1.17. New versions and updates are available on the main project page. For Forge versions and Fabric 1.18+, follow the appropriate link.

This mod is part of the The Vanilla Experience modpack.

What does the mod do?

Hand Over Your Items allows players to directly transfer items to each other without having to drop them on the ground. Now you can share resources with friends without worrying about freshly baked bread getting dirty!

By default, to transfer items you need to crouch and right-click on another player. The entire item stack from the main hand is transferred. If the recipient doesn't have free inventory space, the items will drop to the ground.

Settings and Features

By default, both players receive notifications about item transfers, but this can be changed in the configuration. The mod can work server-side only, but this may cause desynchronization with the client. It's recommended to install the mod on both server and client.

Configurable parameters:

  • sendItemReceivedMessage (default = true): Enable notifications for players who receive items
  • sendItemGivenMessage (default = true): Enable notifications for players who give items
  • mustCrouchToGiveItem (default = true): Require crouching to transfer items

Usage Examples
