HappySheep
About the Modification
Everyone who has played Minecraft has killed a sheep at least once to get wool for a bed or building project. But why destroy animals when there's a much more humane alternative - shearing? Unfortunately, this simple game mechanic is often overlooked, although it can bring much more benefit.
As a big fan of these fluffy creatures, I developed the HappySheep mod that makes sheep shearing more enjoyable and beneficial for players.
What Changes in the Game
Now, when you shear a sheep, it displays heart particles, similar to tamed animals after being tamed. This is a pleasant visual effect that shows the animal's gratitude.
But the most interesting part - you get a 50% chance to activate the regeneration effect after shearing. This provides additional motivation to spend time and resources creating shears and treating animals more caringly.
Special Pink Sheep
WARNING: SPOILER
Shearing a naturally spawned pink sheep gives you a 20% chance of obtaining a bottle of the long-forgotten "Brewer's Ale". This unique beverage grants 2 minutes of Luck II, which can significantly help in various game situations.
Important limitation: A sheep dyed pink does not qualify for this effect. Shearing such a sheep will not yield any result. You need to find and shear only genuine pink sheep during your travels.
