Hardcore Realm
Hardcore Realm
This datapack transforms a regular world into hardcore mode by switching all deceased players to spectator mode. A perfect solution for those seeking to add real challenge to their adventures!
Available Difficulty Modes
The datapack offers three different difficulty levels that can be customized to your preferences:
Standard Mode
When a player dies, they automatically switch to spectator mode while maintaining the ability to watch surviving teammates' actions.
Extreme Hardcore
The toughest version - even one participant's death causes ALL players to switch to spectator mode. Perfect for teams that value absolute coordination.
Light Extreme Mode
A compromise option where the server receives a shared pool of lives. Players can die multiple times until they exhaust the overall death limit.
Simple Installation
For Existing World
Download the ZIP archive and place it in the world/datapacks folder. If the world is already running, execute the /reload command - this is sufficient for activation.
For Realms:
- Download the desired world to your singleplayer worlds list
- Add the datapack to the appropriate folder
- Upload the updated world back to the Realm
For New World
You can immediately add the datapack when creating a new world through the corresponding interface.
Mode Configuration
To activate extreme hardcore, execute the command:
/scoreboard players set #superHardcore deaths 1
Return to standard mode: replace the value 1 with 0.
Important: if someone died in extreme mode, changing settings won't return surviving players to normal mode!
Light Version
Version 1.3 introduced a mode with a shared life pool. Set the desired number of allowed deaths:
/scoreboard players set #superHardcore deaths X
where X is the total number of lives for the entire server.
Note: in this mode, individual player deaths don't switch them to spectators but reduce the server's overall life pool.
