Hardcore Survival Mod
This mod fundamentally changes the early survival stage in Minecraft, making it more challenging and realistic. Instead of standard wooden tool crafting, you'll need to find alternative ways to survive.
Key Features
When breaking leaves by hand, you now get sticks or branches (configurable). These items can be used to craft flint tools, which replace regular wooden tools - the latter become uncraftable.
The flint axe recipe has been modified for greater convenience - it can now be crafted without a crafting table. The new crafting pattern looks like this:
Quicksand generates randomly in the world - be careful and avoid these dangerous areas! (This feature is work in progress and disabled by default)
Technical Requirements
Versions 2.0.0 and higher (for Minecraft 1.11+) require CraftDev Core installation.

Legacy Versions
Minecraft 1.7.10 version (v1.3.2) is officially unsupported. Updating to versions 1.10/1.11 is recommended.
