Harder Core

A modification that fundamentally increases the difficulty of Minecraft gameplay, adding numerous challenges for experienced players.

Key Features

The game now features a thirst bar that must be maintained by drinking water from bottles or special flasks. Every eight nights, a blood moon occurs, significantly increasing monster spawn rates.

When a player dies, all their items are preserved in a gravestone, preventing them from despawning. To return items to the inventory, simply right-click on the gravestone.

The temperature system now displays the character's current condition based on biome and surrounding blocks. Both extreme heat and cold cause negative effects. An air quality indicator has also been added, which deteriorates when standing near torches, fire, active furnaces, and other smoke sources.

Mobs can now possess special abilities: some are poisonous, others are surrounded by fire or can dodge arrows. In dark areas, deadly shadows quickly spawn, posing a serious threat.

Additional negative effects occur from lack of sleep, hunger, or consuming raw meat.

Configuration

All modification features can be individually configured. After the first world launch, a configuration file is automatically created where any unwanted elements can be disabled. The settings file is located at: saves/your_world_name/serverconfig/hardercore-server.toml
