Haven: The Alchemical Dynasty - Exploring Alchemical Mysteries
Haven: The Alchemical Dynasty mod presents a comprehensive system of alchemical progression that eliminates the need for installing multiple other modifications. We have created a unified and engaging gameplay mechanic based on various alchemical processes and resources.
Main Elements of the Mod
Essence Shards: Dropped by mobs and used to create the Fractured Alchemy Stone.
Fractured Alchemy Stone: A single-use item for transmuting items and creating various recipes.
Alchemy Dust: Available in three levels - low, medium, and high. Can be combined to create higher quality alchemical dust.
Havenite Ore: Found between levels Y60 and Y-64. Requires a netherite-level pickaxe to mine.
Alchemical Devices
Alchemical Chamber: Used to create seeds that produce spirits. Spirits are used to craft resources such as iron and gold ingots.
Alchemical Processor: Processes remaining seeds into spiritual form.
Level System and Resources
Current levels include Dark Matter, Red Matter, and Neosphore. Neosphore ore is found in basalt stone in the Ancient City and requires Red Matter-level tools for mining.
Neosphore Armor and Tools: Have infinite durability.
EMC System
Each item has an EMC value (for example, 1 stone = 1 EMC). The Alchemical Condenser allows exchanging items based on their EMC value (32 stones = 1 oak log).
Additional Features
Speed Plates: Move entities in the direction of the arrow. Three speeds available.
Basalt Stone: Found in the Ancient City and Deep Dark. Asphalt provides Speed 1 boost, and asphalt bricks provide Speed 2 boost. Over 25 variations when used in the stone cutter.
Storage Systems: Various chests made of stone, copper, iron, gold, diamond, emerald, netherite, obsidian, and alchemical chests with different capacities.
Neosphore Smithing Template: Found in chests in the Ancient City.
Artifacts: Various artifacts can be found in dungeons and structures throughout the world.
Tools and Resources
Trowel: A convenient tool that randomly places blocks from your quick access panel.
Charmel Trees: Grow in the wild.
Ore Hammers: Used to crush raw resources into dust, effectively doubling the yield. Can also crush ingots and blocks. Available in various levels.
Crushers: Process cobblestone into gravel, gravel into sand, and sand into dust.
Bark Stripping: When stripping bark from logs, you receive the corresponding bark from vanilla trees.
Configuration Settings
EMC values can be configured by editing the file at config/havenalchemy/emc_list.json. A game restart is required for changes to take effect.
Various other mod settings can be changed in the HavenAlchemy-Config.toml file in the config/havenalchemy directory. Changes to this file apply instantly during gameplay.
Commands
- /havenalchemy emc add X - Adds X EMC to the item in hand and reloads the EMC list
- /havenalchemy emc remove - Removes EMC from the item in hand and reloads the EMC list
- /havenalchemy emc reload - Reloads the EMC list
Important Notes
- If EMC doesn't display in multiplayer, you need to enter singleplayer and then return to multiplayer
- EMC is displayed from client files, not server files
- Generator, battery, and cables may conflict with some mods like Mekanism and are intended for use if you don't plan to use other FE systems
