Update 1.3.0: Mod Compatibility and Heart Lanterns!

Another mod update has been released! The game now features new building blocks made from polished heart crystal, heart-shaped lanterns, and heart crystal apples. A major bug has also been fixed that previously caused issues with health upgrades when used with mods like Origins. Now the health system works reliably and predictably. Happy Valentine's Day!

Update 1.2.0: Empty Heart Containers!

This update introduces achievements, health-reducing items, a partially renewable way to obtain shards, and festive textures (hearts turn into candy canes during December!). Using the heart container, you can store your health as an item, reducing it to one heart and giving your hearts to other players. Be careful with temporary hearts - the container will consume them without returning a heart item (though it prioritizes permanent hearts first).

Update 1.1.0: Heart Crystals!

The mod has been updated with the addition of heart crystals, which can be used to craft permanent and temporary health upgrades for the player. Configuration options are now available that control how health upgrades work - you can change the number of permanent and temporary hearts you can obtain and how much health each provides.

Features that existed before the update: heart drops from mobs and heart bottles.

Why is the latest HPG version different for 1.20.1?

This is temporary, I plan to port the newest version to this game version.

Forge version?

Currently, Forge is not my priority. It's possible that versions 1.5+ won't be ported.

Ender Souls are very rare/can't find them

The Ender Dragon always drops ~5. In versions below 1.5, they drop where the dragon dies in the air. In version 1.5+, they appear above the Dragon Egg. Ender mobs also drop souls, but much less frequently. In 1.5+, this is handled through a loot table found in Koala Lib.

Why are Ender Souls part of KoalaLib?

I have plans to use them as a resource for other mods, so I added them to the library, although they remain hidden until used.
