Hendrix's Better Pale Garden
Update for the Pale Garden
The Pale Garden became the first new biome introduced in recent Minecraft updates. It brought with it the unique Creaking mob, a new Pale Wood type, and the special Resin material. While these additions are good on their own, many players felt that some features the developers could have added were missing.
🌫️ Main Improvements
Atmospheric Fog
The first thing you'll notice in the Pale Garden is the dense fog that players have been requesting. It creates a unique atmosphere of mystery and makes the biome truly special.
White Pumpkins
Throughout the biome, you can find White Pumpkins. They function like regular pumpkins: you can carve them or turn them into a light source—the Soul o'Lantern—using a Soul Torch instead of a regular torch.
You can also create Iron and Snow Golems using White Pumpkins!
Thorn Bushes
In the Pale Garden, you'll encounter Thorn Bushes that damage any creatures passing through them—similar to Sweet Berry Bushes. They can be crafted using Pale Hanging Moss and a Cactus Block.
Waxed Creaking Heart
Creaking Heart can now be waxed! This allows you to use this block in construction without worrying about Creakings spawning at night.
New Resin Brick Variants
Cracked and Mossy Resin Bricks have been added to match other brick blocks in the game. They are crafted in the same way as regular cracked or mossy stone bricks.
Unique Armor Template and New Structure
The mod adds a new unique armor trim template—the Creaked Armor Trim.
This template can be found in a new structure—the Haunted House, which also contains two Vex spawners.
Technical Requirements
Cloth Config is required for configuring the mod. Additionally, you can use ModMenu to access settings through the in-game interface, but this is optional.
Conclusion
The Pale Garden is a conceptually interesting biome, and with this mod, it becomes even better! We hope you enjoy all the new features that Better Pale Garden offers.
