Hexed
Introduction to the World of Spells
Tired of the same old enchantments and curses in Minecraft? Get ready to dive into the world of Hexes with this mod!
For years, Minecraft players have been limited to just two options: enchantments for buffs and curses for penalties. But now everything is about to change. Inspired by the bold mechanics of the Calamity mod for Terraria, Hexes present an exciting middle ground.
These powerful enchantments offer unique mechanics that can turn the tide of any battle. However, be cautious, as every advantage comes with its own price. Each Hex has its own drawback, forcing you to weigh the risks and benefits of each choice.
Hexed is all about variety. With at least four unique Hexes available for each piece of equipment, you'll never run out of ways to customize your gameplay. Some Hexes can even interact with each other, offering even greater power but at a certain cost.
Mod Content
New Interactive Blocks

Consumes a Brimstone Crystal when used and extinguishes all 6 Brimstone Candles in the marked locations.
Recipe Integration
All recipes are displayed in EMI, REI, JEI, and the standard Minecraft Recipe Book.
Compatibility
For the most part, Hexed is compatible with all mods, but there is one exception:
- Since in the code Hexes are considered curses, the Enchancement mod may override them if you don't have the appropriate curse patch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Does Hexed add new mobs?
Answer: Technically yes. There is a Hex for the Trident that summons exploding enemies on hit.
Question: How many enchantments does this mod add?
Answer: Currently more than 25. With new updates, as new ideas emerge, I will add more.
Question: Who is that plush character in the maid outfit?
Answer: Supreme Witch, Calamitas in a maid outfit. This is an inside joke of the Calamity mod community for Terraria.
Question: Will you backport to older versions?
Answer: There is already too much content in the mod for backporting. Additionally, Mojang continues to release new updates every month, so my attention is primarily focused on updating to these new versions.
Question: Will there be a version for Forge/Neoforged?
Answer: Again, too much content to transfer from one modloader to another. Forge is completely different from Fabric, which would mean relearning everything from scratch. I don't have time for that.
