Hodgepodge - Collection of Fixes and Improvements
Main Chat Settings
Messages about the inability to sleep are now displayed above the quick access panel instead of in the chat. On MacOS, the Command key is used for standard copy, cut, and paste shortcuts in all text fields. When the chat is closed, the background shading of messages is removed. Repeated identical messages are combined into one line with the number of repetitions indicated. The chat history capacity is increased (default 8191 instead of 100 in vanilla). The maximum message length is increased to 256 characters instead of 100.
Base Game Changes
Enchantments and enhanced potions now use Arabic numerals (1, 5, 9) instead of Roman numerals (I, V, IX). The Minecraft Realms button is disabled. Hostile mobs that pick up dropped items now drop them when disappearing. Hostile mobs are prevented from picking up dropped items. The inventory no longer shifts to the side when potion effects are active. The crosshair is hidden in third-person mode (F5). The particle display limit is increased (8000 instead of 4000). Block selection is enabled in survival mode (with exchange with the current slot on the panel). The sound when placing a minecart is removed. The sprint key is moved to the movement control category. The autosave interval is reduced to 45 seconds. Water opacity is reduced from 3 to 1 to match modern Minecraft versions.
