Hole
Hole is a Minecraft modification that enriches the underground layers of your world with unique, balanced, and challenging enemies. Currently, the mod includes two foes, but more are in development. It's recommended to explore the mod without prior knowledge, but below is information about the current enemies for those who want to know in advance.
Current Enemies
Pale Spider
Stats:
- Health: 8.0
- Attack: 2.0
- Speed: 0.25 (double)
Features:
- Spawns below Y30.
- Hangs from the ceiling and drops down when approaching the player. On the ground, it attacks in a standard manner.
- Drops 3–5 string and 0–3 spider eyes upon death.
- On Hard difficulty, they can spawn with effects: jump boost, fire resistance, speed boost.
Umber Spider
Stats:
- Health: 26.0
- Attack: 4.0
- Speed: 0.3 (double)
- Armor: 10.0
- Armor Toughness: 10.0
- Knockback Resistance: 10.0
Features:
- Spawns below Y10.
- Temporarily inflicts the wither effect. In the future, it will deal damage based on light levels: maximum damage in complete darkness (like wither) and minimal damage in bright light.
- In light, it gains slowness and weakness, does not attack, and tries to flee to the nearest darkness.
- Drops 4–7 string and 0–6 spider eyes upon death.
- On Hard difficulty, they can spawn with effects: strength, regeneration, damage resistance, absorption, jump boost.
Ramble
Stats:
- Health: 40.0
- Attack: 10.0
- Speed: 0.13 (double)
- Armor: 20.0
- Armor Toughness: 20.0
- Knockback Resistance: 5.0
Features:
- Spawns below Y10.
- Slow but extremely durable and deals massive damage quickly.
- When attacking, it breaks through shields and inflicts damage rapidly.
- Drops 5–10 bones and rarely 1–4 skeleton skulls upon death.

Q: Can you add X to the mod? A: Hole follows strict rules for adding creatures, so in most cases, no. However, if you have an interesting idea, share it in our Discord.
Q: Will there be a port to Fabric? A: No, maintaining two versions of the mod on different loaders requires too much effort. The mod will never be available on Fabric or other game editions.
Q: Will there be a port to version X? A: We aim to port the mod to the latest versions when possible, but the split between NeoForge and Forge may delay the port to 1.21. Stay tuned for updates.
