Mount and Blade Style Horse Controls

A completely redesigned horse control system that brings Mount and Blade mechanics to Minecraft. Now you can control your steed in an intuitive way: forward movement accelerates the horse, backward slows it down, and left/right buttons handle turning.

Control Mode Switching

To switch between standard Minecraft controls and combat mode, simply press the Y key. This allows instant adaptation to any gaming situation - from peaceful travels to intense battles.

Server Administrator Settings

Server owners and modpack creators can lock the use of combat control mode through the server configuration file. The settings file is located at: .minecraft → saves → [world name] → serverconfig → horsecombatcontrols-server.toml

Global Settings for New Worlds

To automatically apply selected settings to all newly created worlds, simply copy the configuration file to the defaultconfigs folder in the .minecraft directory.

Third-Person Compatibility

The mod is not compatible with Better Third Person due to the latter's closed source code. It is recommended to use an alternative third-person camera solution.
