This datapack adds magnificent hot air balloons to your Minecraft world that float high in the sky, creating picturesque landscapes and making the game world more diverse and interesting.

Creation History

The original datapack was created by Ercerus for version 1.18, but the author discontinued its support. We adapted and updated the project for version 1.20, preserving all the original magic of ballooning.

Spawn Rate Configuration

We modified the configuration so that balloons appear frequently enough to create atmosphere, but not so often that it becomes annoying. If you think there are too many balloons, try the "Rare" or "Legacy" version. For more frequent appearances, use the "Common" option.

Important: Do not edit JSON files manually - this may break the datapack. Use special tools for modifications.

Features

Currently, hot air balloons serve exclusively decorative purposes. They contain no loot, only a villager passenger (unless you consider that as loot).
