Hunger Mechanism Overhaul
This mod transforms the classic health reserve system in Minecraft by establishing automatic player health reduction by one point at designated intervals. The frequency of health decrease is controlled by the Hunger Tick Rate game rule, which has a default value of 480 ticks.
Factors Accelerating Depletion
Various active actions provoke intensified vitality drain - sprinting doubles the depletion rate compared to normal speed (adding 2 ticks to the counter per tick). Jumping exerts double influence - each attempt increases the counter by 2 units.
Heightened Danger
In Hard mode, genuine survival threat emerges for the character - constant health point deprivation can lead to their complete exhaustion, posing immediate risk of player death in the game.
Visual Feedback
When setting a low Hunger Tick Rate value, the game screen shakes with each health deduction episode - similar to damage reaction experienced by any creature.
