HungerStrike: Extended support
This mod offers an alternative approach to the hunger system in Minecraft for players who prefer survival without constantly monitoring their satiety. The modification's feature lies in flexible parameter settings for each participant on multiplayer servers, allowing for balance between different play styles.
Main Changes
For players who have activated the mod, the hunger bar is fixed at half of the maximum value. This state allows continued sprinting but blocks natural health regeneration. When the "hunger" effect is applied, the satiety level drops below the threshold required for sprinting, while the "regeneration" effect, conversely, completely fills the bar.
Eating now instantly restores health, with the number of restored hearts being half of the food value of the product. For example, a cookie will restore half a heart, and cooked porkchop will restore two hearts.
Problem Fixes
This version fixes critical errors present in the original build for Minecraft 1.12.2:
- Players can now eat while under regeneration
- Cakes correctly restore health
