Hypercollider
Important Note
You're unlikely to notice Hypercollider's impact during standard gameplay. This mod optimizes relatively niche scenarios that only occur in modded games and even then are quite uncommon.
Lithium Compatibility
With default settings, Hypercollider is incompatible with Lithium. However, the Hypercollider configuration file contains comments explaining how to configure them to work together.
I strongly recommend using Lithium alongside Hypercollider.
Client-Side Optimization
Hypercollider improves performance on both server and client sides. I haven't tested the mod on vanilla servers, so I can't predict how anticheats will react. Be cautious - anticheats might flag the mod as suspicious.
What Hypercollider Does
Hypercollider is a specialized mod designed to optimize Minecraft's collision system. In rare cases, it might slightly alter game behavior, but in most situations this will remain unnoticeable.
The mod's primary goal is optimizing performance with large entities, such as a player scaled 64 times using Pehkui. Interestingly, achievements account for a significant portion of player collision lag, so I had to optimize this part of the game's logic as well.
Hypercollider is in early development, and I know there's still room for improvement.
Performance Graphs
The following screenshots demonstrate performance for a player with 64x scaling.
I'm not including results for Lithium alone because it showed such minimal improvement that I'm not even sure it was properly installed during testing.
