I Need Them Ores

Why This Mod is Needed?

This mod solves a common problem - you can start playing in a new world immediately without waiting for technical mods to update. All necessary ores will be generated in advance, and when your favorite technical mods are ready, you can simply install them and use the already mined resources.

Main Features

The mod adds only ore generation and the ability to smelt them. No additional functionality is provided. All ores are fully compatible with other mods thanks to properly configured tags (ore dictionary).

Customizability

Each ore can be individually configured through configuration files in the usual config folder. Available customization parameters:

• Mining level (Wood, Stone, Iron, Diamond)
• Rarity of appearance
• Vein size
• Maximum and minimum generation height
• Ability to completely disable any ore

The mod includes the following types of ores:

• Aluminum
• Bismuth
• Copper
• Iridium
• Lead
• Nickel
• Platinum
• Silver
• Tin
• Uranium
• Zinc

Future Plans

The developer plans to create three complementary mods:

• Current mod - adds ores and works as a unified dictionary for them
• Future mod - will add alloys, dust, gears, fluids and other materials
• Resource pack - will change colors and textures of all items added by mods to a unified style
