Identity Fix (Morph)
Return of the iconic Identity mod — now fully adapted for modern Forge and Fabric versions! The original development by Draylar1 hadn't been updated for over two years, making it incompatible with current Minecraft versions. This port fixes all issues and provides full support.
🔧 Full Compatibility
The mod runs stably on:
- Forge 47.4.0 for version 1.20.1+
- Fabric with updated Architectury and Loom
🎮 Core Features
Transform into any creatures — from dragons to guardians, from creepers to mobs from popular mods. The morphing system has been completely reworked for maximum stability: no more hidden crashes, configuration issues, or strange creature behavior.
🚀 Performance Improvements
- Drastically accelerated shape selection menu — forget about FPS drops to 10 frames!
- Fixed infinite scrolling, element placement errors, and input issues
- Automatic support for all modified creatures from Ice and Fire, Alex's Mobs, and other popular mods
⚠️ Known Limitations
Some creatures may not work entirely correctly:
- Dragons from Ice and Fire appear as juveniles regardless of age
- Sea serpents become invisible when transformed
- Flying and swimming creatures may move incorrectly (hovering, landing, or lacking animation)
- Creatures with custom animation (e.g., via GeckoLib) may not display flight or swimming
🔄 Compatibility with Other Mods
Conflict with BjornLib has been completely resolved in version 2.3 — everything runs smoothly and without crashes. However, dragons from Dragon Mount mods are currently unavailable for transformation due to their creation specifics, but the mods themselves coexist stably.
🔮 Future Plans
The current version is the most stable to date, but development continues:
- Full support for GeckoLib animated creatures
- Customizable configuration system for flying, aquatic, and special creatures
- Improvements based on community feedback

Note: This is an unofficial port of the Identity mod by Draylar1. Full credit for the original code and concept belongs to the creator. The project's goal is to ensure compatibility with Forge and fix bugs for a wonderful but aging mod.
