Igneo's Combat Revamp - Complete Overhaul of Minecraft's Combat System
This mod fundamentally changes Minecraft's combat mechanics, turning boring static improvements into an engaging ability system. The main goal is to eliminate the lack of depth and variety in the original combat system, creating a unique gaming experience.
Key Changes
The enchantment system has been completely reworked. Now only one enchantment can be applied to each item, which prevents the creation of "god" armor and forces players to carefully select equipment according to their playstyle.
The enchantment table now works differently. Instead of a random experience-based system, all enchantments have a fixed cost. To unlock available enchantments, you need to place enchanted books in chiseled bookshelves where regular bookcases would normally stand.
What Remains and What Changed
Almost all standard enchantments have been removed, except for Silk Touch and Riptide. Efficiency has been replaced with Brute Touch - equivalent to efficiency level 7, but without dropping blocks. Although item durability remains, the increasing cost on the anvil has been removed, as well as the ability to enchant through books, so players don't forget to add enchantments to their collection.
New Features
Armor trim effects are now endowed with special properties, many of which correspond to the removed standard enchantments. If you don't like this mechanic, it can be disabled in the settings.
