Imaginary
ATTENTION: this project has been discontinued. It is recommended to use SignPicture, OnlinePictureFrame, or the image morph feature in Blockbuster instead.
Imaginary is a Minecraft modification that allows you to add custom images to your game world. The mod supports all file formats that Minecraft uses for textures: PNG, JPEG, and GIF (without animations). It is compatible with Minecraft Forge versions 1.10.2, 1.11.2, and 1.12. Multiplayer support is not currently available but is planned for future updates.
Installation
First, install Minecraft Forge, then download the latest stable JAR file for your Minecraft version. Place it in the mods
folder and launch the game.
After this, the Imaginary mod should be installed and appear in Minecraft's mods list. If it doesn't appear, something went wrong.
How to Use
The mod adds a "picture" item that allows you to place images in the world. You can obtain it from the "Miscellaneous" creative tab or craft it using the following recipe:
Once you have the picture item, you can place it on any surface. After placing, right-click on it to change its properties. To select an image, you need to add files to the Imaginary mod's picture folder (located at .minecraft/config/imaginary/pictures
). Supported formats are PNG, JPEG, and GIF. After adding images to the folder, you can choose them in the picture's interface.
