Indev Hell Mod

This nostalgic mod recreates the hell world theme from the Indev version of Minecraft as accurately as possible.

What was Indev?

If you're unfamiliar with Indev, it was the third phase of Minecraft development during the time when many of us were still in school. It was a testing version of the game with various world themes, one of which was called "Hell". It was a normal small world with trees and plants, but without grass blocks, featuring lava lakes and dark skies.

Since Indev and early Minecraft versions used different textures, I've added blocks that drop their vanilla counterparts but feature the textures of those old blocks. Don't worry - their properties are completely identical.

How to get to the dimension and return back?

Currently, a special block is used to travel to the Indev hell dimension, which can only be obtained using commands. Survival mode functionality will be added soon.

To enter the Indev hell dimension, simply right-click the "update" block. To return back, use the "return" block.

Commands to obtain blocks:

/give Player812 indev_hell_mod:updateblock
/give Player812 indev_hell_mod:returnblock
