Inferno
This mod fundamentally changes fire mechanics, making them more dynamic and realistic, while also adding new content that rewards players for restoring fire-damaged territories.
Smoke and Atmosphere
The intensity of smoke now directly depends on the amount of nearby fire - the more fire sources there are, the thicker and denser the smoke veil becomes, creating a truly hellish atmosphere.
Fire Consequences
Burnt logs have a chance to transform into Charred Logs, which when broken the normal way yield 1-4 charcoal, and if using Silk Touch, such logs can be used to smelt up to 40 items.
Grass blocks have become flammable and turn into Scorched Earth. This soil can be fertilized with Bone Meal, allowing the cultivation of various new plants. Naturally, Scorched Earth heals during rain.
Plant World
When fertilized with Bone Meal, Scorched Earth grows various new flora. If five or more blocks of such earth are fertilized simultaneously, two plants are guaranteed to grow from them.
Among the new species, you can see Beargrass, Goldenrod, Golden Poppy, Fireweed, and Prairie Fire.
Shining Oak
With a small chance, a Shining Oak Sapling can appear on Scorched Earth, which grows into a magnificent fireproof tree with its own set of wood materials.
The leaves form either iron or golden crowns - the choice is random when the sapling grows. To guarantee the desired tree type, simply place iron or gold blocks (in any form - ore, raw block, or regular block) under the ground where the sapling is growing.
Soul Fire Power
Creatures set on fire with Soul Fire take double burning damage, making this fire type especially deadly.
Copper Fire
Copper blocks burn with green flames, creating unusual visual effects. Copper Campfires also appear - perfect additions for meditative evenings by the fire.
Redesigned Interface
The fire animation on the health panel automatically shifts lower, ensuring better interface visibility. The system works correctly even with resource packs that change fire textures.
Fire Spread
Burning creatures can ignite surrounding objects and blocks. Projectiles do this with lower probability, while creatures ignited by the sun completely lack this ability.
Fire Weapons
Attacking with a Torch or Soul Torch immediately ignites the target, with the torch itself being destroyed - a radical but effective self-defense method.
