Discover the Unexplored Depths of Minecraft World

Have you ever wondered what lies between the Overworld and the Nether? Or what unexplored abysses hide beneath the Nether itself? Now you have the opportunity to descend deeper than ever before, through caves of stone, crystals, and ice, in search of treasures hidden in the world's deepest depths. But be careful — in the shadows of the deepest layers dwell creatures far more dangerous than any Nether monsters.

Structure of Underground Dimensions

The mod adds seven unique layers beneath the world's surface:

• Layer 0: Standard Overworld
• Layer 1: Vast caves with special stone and abundant crystals
• Layer 2: Reddish stone with magma instead of lava — like a less hot version of the Nether
• Layer 3: Classic Nether
• Layer 4: Territory covered with mushrooms and mycelium
• Layer 5: Prismarine formations with guardians and glowing vines on cave ceilings
• Layer 6: Icy frozen caves with wind spirits and other frozen creatures
• Layer 7: Mysterious shadow caves with strange clusters of glowing eyes

Powerful Bosses

In the depths, you'll encounter three formidable opponents:

• Charya: Humanoid creature with tentacles, 4 blocks tall, armed with a huge sword and shooting toxic slime
• Crystal Construct: Rotating structure of crystal blocks that attacks the player
• Frozen Wither: Enhanced and enlarged version of the standard Wither

Portal Creation

Access to each layer requires special portals:

• Layer 1: Amethyst blocks and Amethyst Key (craftable)
• Layer 2: Deepstone blocks and Pink Crystal Key (craftable)
• Layer 3: Standard Nether portal (flint and steel is craftable)
• Layer 4: Red deepstone and Red Crystal Key (craftable)
• Layer 5: Third layer deepstone and Opal Key (craftable)
• Layer 6: Deep prismarine and Frozen Key (5% drop chance from Guardian Knights)
• Layer 7: Blue ice and Shadow Key (5% drop chance from Wind Spirits)

Compatibility and Features

The mod supports the dimension stacking feature from Immersive Portals, but only in version 1.16.5. In other versions, access to dimensions is through regular portals. In version 1.16.5, portals can be disabled with the command /gamerule infiniteAbyssPortalsEnabled false, leaving only the option to reach dimensions by digging.

Dimension stacking is disabled by default. To activate it, you'll need version 1.16.5/1.18.2, the Immersive Portals mod, and manual enabling of the feature.

It's recommended to use JEI for viewing recipes and JER for information about ore generation. All mod recipes are automatically added upon first entering the world.
