InfiView
This mod displays all explored areas of your world by rendering them as you approach and saving the resulting images. The visualization quality cannot be called high or even good, but the functionality works surprisingly stable.
It's important to note that the mod can occupy significant disk space - testing showed hundreds of megabytes, and for large worlds it will likely reach gigabytes.
This version is considered an alpha release and has the following limitations and issues:
- Doesn't distinguish between different servers - data from one server overwrites information from another (however, correctly separates data between singleplayer worlds, and between singleplayer games and servers)
- Breaks fog functionality in the Nether - the background becomes black
- Doesn't account for time of day - all chunks rendered by InfiView display with maximum brightness
- Can cause periodic significant FPS drops
