Informational Accessories
Accessories that help you better understand your world
This modification completely removes all information from the F3 debug menu. Various details gradually return as you find corresponding items related to that information. Some accessories can provide multiple types of data at once, while even standard items from the vanilla version can also display useful information. All available information is displayed directly in the item's tooltip.
Available Items
Currently, the mod includes the following informational accessories:
- Compass - shows the player's X and Z coordinates
- Stopwatch - displays the character's current movement speed
- Sextant - shows the current moon phase
- Depth Meter - indicates the player's Y coordinate
- Debugger - work in progress
- Slime Compass - determines if the player is in a slime chunk
- Chunker - shows the X and Y coordinates of the current chunk
- DPS Monitor - work in progress
- Structure Detector - work in progress
Terraria Inspiration
This modification was created under the influence of informational accessories from the game Terraria. The inspiration is evident in several items, and in some cases textures were designed with reference to originals from Terraria. However, it's important to note that the mod does not use direct copies of textures from Terraria.
Planned Updates
Future versions plan to add:
- Crafting recipes for all items
- FPS information and debug data
- Ability to create whitelists to preserve certain entries from clearing
- Support for items from other mods that add information to the F3 menu
