[LEGACY] InvMove (Forge)

This Minecraft Forge mod allows you to freely move around the world while inside various inventories and interfaces. No more needing to close menus to take a few steps - now you can walk, run, and jump right while sorting items or using workbenches.

Key Features

The mod provides two key functions that can be individually configured for each inventory type:

• Movement in interfaces - ability to walk, jump, and run without closing menus
• Transparent background - removes screen darkening in inventories that don't pause the game

Configuration

The mod has a flexible configuration system accessible through the Forge mod list. For versions 1.14+, installing GameMenuModOption is recommended for convenient access to settings directly from the pause menu.

Main Settings:

• Mod enable - activation of all functions
• Debug - shows diagnostic information for compatibility problem solving

Movement Settings:

• Movement in inventories - main function
• Sneaking - ability to crouch (disabled by default to avoid interfering with shift-clicks)
• Jumping - jump activation
• Disable during text input - automatic movement disable when working with text fields

Background Settings:

• Hide background - removes screen darkening

Each settings category allows individual enable/disable of functions for specific inventory types.

Compatibility with Other Mods

Starting from version 0.4.0, the mod has extended support for popular mods. Unknown interfaces are automatically added to configuration after first opening and can be manually activated.

Important Information

This is a client-side mod, but its use on servers with anti-cheat may raise suspicions. The author is not responsible for possible bans on public servers.

The mod requires Cloth Config installation (only for versions 1.14+) for proper settings menu operation.

License and Usage

The mod is distributed under GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 and can be freely used in modpacks. Download is only possible from official pages on GitHub, CurseForge, or Modrinth.

Development Plans

Future updates plan to add compatibility with new mods, bug fixes, and code optimization. After achieving stability and sufficient compatibility level, the mod will transition to version 1.0.0.
