Uniforms

Uniforms is a convenient add-on for the Iris modification that opens up the possibility to edit individual graphics settings directly during gameplay. This add-on is compatible with Fabric versions 1.20.4, 1.20.1, and 1.21.1 through 1.21.8. Additionally, it functions on Forge 1.20.1 when using Sinytra Connector and Oculus, as well as on NeoForge 1.21.1 with Sinytra Connector and Iris.

Important note: when adjusting parameters, you must release the slider for the changes to take effect.

Mandatory requirement: this mod requires Iris version 1.7 or higher!

Significant limitations: some shader packs may function incorrectly. This modification is INCOMPATIBLE with BBS mod (since BBS mod has its own implementation of similar functionality).

How it works

This mod modifies the GLSL code loaded by Iris/Oculus, converting parameters based on #define into GLSL uniforms that can be updated from outside the shader pack.

Due to technical implementation specifics, some options cannot be made editable in real time (this applies to parameters used in expressions requiring constant values, such as array sizes, as well as within macros like other #define, #if, and #elif).
