About the Modification
This modification enhances snow generation diversity, making winter landscapes more realistic and engaging to explore.
World Generation Features
- Varying Snow Layer Thickness - snow can now have different height levels instead of the standard zero level
- Slippery Snow - special snow type that makes characters slide. Appearance frequency is configurable. Important to note that by default this snow type has the same texture as regular snow, but its appearance can be changed using resource packs
- Quicksand-like Snow - snow areas where characters sink and slow down. The intensity of such zones can also be adjusted in settings. Like slippery snow, initially visually indistinguishable from regular snow but allows texture replacement via resource packs
- Configuration Flexibility - special blocks (slippery and quicksand-like snow) can be completely disabled, leaving only the variable snow thickness system. This allows using the mod server-side only without requiring client installation
