It Shall Not Tick (ISNT)
ISNT is a performance-enhancing modification that limits the processing of game entities within a configurable radius around players.
When an entity is within the set radius of a player, it is processed as usual. However, if the entity is outside this radius, its processing is completely stopped, and the client also stops rendering it.
This significantly improves server performance by avoiding resource consumption on processing entities that players are not currently interacting with.
The mod integrates with FTB Chunks - entities in claimed chunks continue to be processed in normal mode regardless of the distance to the player.
In the settings, you can add entities that will be ignored by the system. By default, the following entities are ignored:
- minecraft:wither
- minecraft:phantom
- minecraft:ender_dragon
- minecraft:elder_guardian (starting from version 1.0.10)
The configuration file comments include an example setup for a modpack.
