[IU] Additions

[IU] Additions is an extension for the Industrial Upgrade mod that enhances its functionality through integration with other popular modifications and adds new features.

Integrations and Compatibility

The mod provides compatibility with modifications such as DivineRPG, Forestry, AstralSorcery, CraftTweaker and PowerUtilities. Detailed documentation for working with CraftTweaker is available in the project repository.

Settings and Tweaks

Includes numerous customizable parameters: upgrade modules, weapons, armor and mechanisms. By default, most settings have minimal changes, allowing players to customize values according to their preferences through configuration files.

Automatic Boss Support

The automatic hunter boss system allows summoning bosses and obtaining loot from them. However, many custom loot tables have incorrect structure, which can lead to no loot being generated. To solve this problem, loot tables need to be modified according to the correct format, an example of which is available in the repository.

Draconic Evolution Integration

New Energy Converters

Spectral Converter - provides bidirectional conversion between EF and RF energy. Can transfer energy directly to the DE energy core, bypassing limiters. To operate, place the converter near an active core (default radius - 16 blocks), wait for detection and select the operating mode.

Spectral Quantum Converter - similar to the previous one, but works with QE energy.

DE converters require Draconic Evolution and PowerUtilities[IU] to be installed.

Energy Shield Modules

Added Draconic energy shield modules for Nano, Advanced Nano, Quantum and Spectral armor sets. Up to 4 modules can be installed in each armor piece. The higher the armor tier - the greater the shield capacity and recovery rate.

Specifications with 4 modules and full set:

• Nano: 57 armor points, restores up to 333 points per full charge (~6 full charges)
• Advanced Nano: 116 armor points, restores up to 909 points per full charge (~8 full charges)
• Quantum: 288 armor points, restores up to 2666 points per full charge (~9 full charges)
• Spectral: 500 armor points, restores up to 12000 points per full charge (~24 full charges)

Botania Integration

Mana Converter - provides bidirectional conversion between mana and EF energy.

Mana → EF mode: draws mana from adjacent mana pools, buffers and other converters (except top side). Supports pools from Botania, Botaniverse, Botanic Additions and buffers from Extra Botany. Can receive mana from spreaders but doesn't support sparks.

EF → Mana mode: converts EF energy into mana, which can be extracted via spark with recessive augment on top side or transferred to adjacent pools.

Transfer rate depends on converter's power tier, which can be increased with transformer upgrades. Internal energy/mana buffer can be expanded with energy upgrades.

By default, only mana → EF mode is available for balance purposes, but both modes can be activated or disabled in settings. Conversion coefficients are configurable.

Botania converters require Botania and PowerUtilities[IU] to be installed. Botanic Additions, Extra Botany and Botaniverse mods are optional, but adding Botaniverse to the pack is recommended.
