Enhanced AnvilCraft Display in JEI
This addon for the AnvilCraft mod significantly improves integration with JEI (Just Enough Items), solving several important issues with the original recipe display.
Original Display Issues
In the standard AnvilCraft version in JEI, the following shortcomings exist:
- Blocks in Recipes: Unable to view synthesis or usage of input/output blocks - they only appear as tooltips
- Block-Only Recipes: Such recipes cannot be bookmarked or set as default recipes due to hidden inputs/outputs
- Cauldrons with Fluids: In cauldron recipes, it's impossible to see how input/output fluids are synthesized and what they're used for
What This Addon Fixes
- Redesigned Categories: Uses mixins for most categories of the original mod
- Blocks as Items: Adds input and output blocks in item form on the sides of recipes, allowing viewing of their synthesis and usage
- Bookmarks for Blocks: Recipes containing only blocks can now be bookmarked
- Cauldron Fluids: Adds required and output fluids in cauldron recipes to the appropriate sides
Important Information
Development Status
Warning: This addon is under active development and uses unpublished builds of AnvilCraft (versions 1.5.+). For proper functionality, it's recommended to use corresponding unpublished AnvilCraft builds.
After the release of a new stable version of AnvilCraft, development will switch to using the updated version.
Technical Features
The addon is still in development, and issues with recipe refactoring in the original mod are not fully resolved. Technically, JEI is required in addition to the main mod, but JEI is not listed in dependencies - the game may launch without JEI, but potential issues have not been tested.
