Just Enough Items
Just Enough Items (JEI) is a Minecraft modification that provides a convenient interface for viewing items and recipes. The mod is designed with a focus on stability and high performance.
Controls
In inventory:
(Minecraft Settings → Controls)
R — show crafting recipes (hover over item and press R)
U — show usage methods (hover over item and press U)
Control + O — toggle item list
In item list:
Show recipes: Click on item or press R
Show usage: Right-click on item or press U
Next/previous page: Scroll mouse wheel
Search:
Select search bar: Click or Control + F
Clear search: Right-click
Previous query: Up arrow
Search by mod name: Type @ before word (@thaum)
Multiple conditions work together (wand @thaum)
Exclude terms from search: Type - before word (@thaum -wand)
Search for phrases with spaces: Enclose words in quotes ("two words")
Recipe viewing:
Next/previous page: Scroll mouse wheel
Show all recipes: Click on recipe category name
Move items to crafting area: Press [+] button. Shift+click moves multiple item sets.
Advanced control settings
### Advanced search: Search only by tooltips: Type # before wordSearch by OreDict name: Type $ before word
Search by creative tab: Type % before word
Multiple search: Separate terms with | character, e.g. "wrench|hammer"
### In cheat mode: Get full stack of items: Click on item
Get one item: Right-click on item
Delete item: Drag item into item list
### In item list edit mode: (These controls are displayed in-game in the item tooltip) Hide item: Control+click on item
Hide item and related items: Control+right-click on item
Hide all items from mod: Control+Shift+click on item

Of course!
Can JEI run client-only or with vanilla server?
Yes, but with limited functionality:
- "Move items to crafting area" [+] buttons don't work.
- Cannot create items with large amounts of NBT data.
- Item deletion function is unavailable.
