Jewelcraft
The Jewelcraft mod adds three types of jewelry to the game: rings and amulets, which require the Curios mod to be equipped. These accessories can be crafted by combining various gemstones with metals of your choice: gold, iron, or copper.
Each metal has unique properties: gold provides Piglin neutrality, iron increases armor toughness by 1 unit, and copper increases knockback resistance by 1 unit.
Gemstone Varieties
There are nine gemstone options for jewelry, seven of which are standard Minecraft materials, and two additional ones created using dyes:
- Amethyst
- Emerald
- Diamond
- Lapis Lazuli
- Redstone
- Quartz
- Obsidian (Onyx)
- Purple Dye (Shadow Stone) - based on magical crystals
- Pink Dye (Rose Quartz)
The choice of gemstone does not affect the jewelry's characteristics - it serves solely for visual variety and role-playing.
System Features
Effects from rings do not stack when wearing multiple identical ones. For example, three iron jewelry pieces will give only +2 to armor toughness. Therefore, it's recommended to combine rings made from different metals. However, effects from a ring and an amulet do stack.
The main advantage of the mod is the complete customization of jewelry according to the player's needs. You can create unique items for role-playing scenarios or adventure maps by applying enchantments as you wish. Special enchanted jewelry with unique names can also be found in the world.
~Enchantments~
