JoinMusic Mod - Creating a Special Atmosphere

Transform the atmosphere of your Minecraft server with the JoinMusic mod, which plays unique musical compositions and sound effects when players join. The perfect solution for creating festive mood during seasonal activities, special events, or simply to welcome new participants.

Main Features

  • Seasonal Musical Design: Prepare special soundtracks for various holidays and events - from Halloween to Christmas or server anniversaries
  • Wide Compatibility: Full support for Bukkit, Spigot, PaperMC and BungeeCord with additional settings for proxy servers
  • Easy Setup: All music parameters are easily configured through understandable configuration files

How It Works

The mod allows playing music files in .nbs format when players join the server. To get started, you only need:

  • Place .nbs files in the plugin folder
  • Add their paths to the config.yml configuration file

Additional Option (version 4.0 and higher):

Activate random music selection by setting the options.music.random parameter to true. When using multiple .nbs files in the specified directory, the system will automatically select different compositions for each incoming player.

Basic Installation Process

  1. Download the latest PlayMusic.jar version
  2. Install NoteBlockAPI as a required dependency
  3. Stop the server for making changes
  4. Place both files (PlayMusic.jar and NoteBlockAPI) in the /plugins folder
  5. Restart the server to activate the plugin

Adjustable Parameters

The system includes an integrated update checker from Gravity that informs administrators about available updates. Notifications can be:

  • Completely disabled through update-check and updateinfo settings
  • Limited to console output only for minimal interference

The mod also includes anonymous statistics collection through bstats.org for tracking basic server indicators. If necessary, metrics can be deactivated in configuration files.
