JSON Paintings - Custom Paintings via JSON

The JSON Paintings mod opens up endless possibilities for creating custom paintings in Minecraft using simple JSON files. Instead of creating new mechanics, it expands the game's standard system, ensuring full compatibility with other mods that don't alter how paintings work.

Key Features

Create unique paintings with individual textures for the front, back, and side surfaces. The system allows overriding standard paintings by adding custom back and side textures for complete visual consistency.

You can configure painting exclusivity - some images will only be available through structures or quest rewards, excluding them from the regular painting cycling process.

Convenient Work Mechanics

When breaking a painting, the player can save its art type by sneaking during the action. Also, when using the pick-block feature on a painting, you can hold the Ctrl key to instantly save the art type.

Compatibility and Recommendations

The mod is incompatible with Paintings++ as it completely overrides the standard painting system. For convenient painting selection, it's recommended to use Painting Selection Gui.
