Kc's Basic Innovations
The Kc's Basic Innovations mod significantly expands crafting and resource processing capabilities in Minecraft by adding new ores, alloys, and tools, while completely overhauling the smelting system.
Important: This mod is currently in active development, so some features may be unstable.
Main Features
New Resources and Materials
The mod introduces a range of new resources to the game:
- Ores: tin, zinc, lead, silver, graphite, ruby
- Alloys: bronze, brass
Graphite can drop as shards, flakes, or lumps
Enhanced Smelting System
Crucible
A new smelting method that allows creating alloys:
Crucible is crafted from 7 graphite flakes
Crucible has a 9-slot inventory
Filled crucibles can be smelted in a regular furnace
Crucible contents update after smelting
The inventory now contains the created alloy
Alloy Smelter
A more advanced device for creating alloys:
Alloy smelter is crafted from stone and graphite lumps
The alloy smelter combines crucible and furnace functions, allowing creation of multiple identical alloys at once
Temperature drops when fuel runs out
New Tools
Bronze Tools - More durable than iron
