
Kill for Potion Effects
This mod adds an engaging mechanic to Minecraft where you receive random potion effects when defeating opponents. The effect applies to both players and mobs, but you can flexibly configure parameters through built-in game rules.
Key Features
The mod introduces two new game rules for complete process control:
- doMobsGiveEffects - determines whether mobs will grant potion effects when killed
- badPotionEffects - allows or prohibits receiving negative potion effects
By default, the mod is configured to provide only positive potion effects, making it an ideal choice for PvP servers or adventure maps where victory rewards should be exclusively enjoyable.
