
King Mammoth - Ambience Patch
The Ambience mod was created by developer Vazkii as an updated version of his earlier project RuneTune for version 1.7.10. The main idea of this addition is to add dynamic musical accompaniment that changes depending on the player's actions. For example, when being chased by a horde of enemies or exploring new biomes, appropriate music starts playing.
Unfortunately, development of the original mod was discontinued several years ago, probably due to the author's busy real life or his focus on other projects.
A few months ago, another user named azazelthedemonlord created a fork of Ambience, adding smooth transitions between compositions with a gradual fade effect. However, this version had a bug: the track would start playing for a couple of seconds, then abruptly stop, and only after that would play normally.
In this mod, I tried to fix this problem as much as possible. A new feature has also been added - random pauses between transitions. The code sets a minimum interval of 3 minutes 20 seconds and a maximum of 5 minutes. This mod is experimental and was created specifically for the King Mammoth modpack to solve the problem with transitions between tracks.
I want to note that I am not an experienced Forge mod developer and am just starting to learn this platform. Therefore, some errors are possible. Don't expect frequent updates, as the main goal of this patch is to fix a specific problem.
