KJ's Electrostatics

The Electrostatics modification provides access to FE energy generation technology using static electricity from the early stages of the game. Generator performance levels can be customized according to your needs directly in configuration files.

What the mod adds

• Treetap — a specialized tool for collecting resin from tree trunks
• Resin — a natural substance converted into rubber through the smelting process
• Rubber — a key material for creating various items
• Rubber boots — essential equipment for generating static charge when combined with carpet
• Electrostatic generator — the main device converting static electricity into FE energy

Getting Started

The process of mastering the mod's mechanics begins with obtaining rubber. The system recognizes any rubber from the general ore dictionary but also provides its own method of obtaining it (this feature can be disabled in settings).

Step-by-step instructions:

Craft a treetap from 5 iron ingots using a recipe similar to the tool from IndustrialCraft2: three ingots along the center line, one at the top center, and one in the bottom left corner.

Right-click on any wooden block to collect resin using the treetap.

Smelt the obtained resin in a furnace — you'll get 7 units of rubber.

Create rubber boots from 4 units of rubber using the standard leg armor shape.

Use the remaining 3 units of rubber to craft an electrostatic generator. Recipe: copper in the top corners, redstone block in the top center, furnace in the middle, rubber on the sides and bottom center, stone in the bottom corners.

Place the electrostatic generator next to a consuming device or connect it via an energy conduit.

Place carpets around the generator.

Wear rubber boots and move around on the carpeted surface.

Congratulations! You've started producing FE energy!
