LanServerExtended — a small mod that adds dedicated server functionality to local LAN games. This modification transfers many features from regular servers to local networks, making game management more convenient.
Available Commands
The mod adds the following administrative commands:
- /ban-ip — IP address ban using IP or player name
- /ban — player ban that can only be lifted using /pardon
- /banlist — list of banned players
- /kick — player disconnection from server
- /pardon — unbanning a player
- /pardon-ip — IP address unbanning
- /list — online players list
- /msg or /tell — private messaging
- /say — global notification for all players
- /whitelist — whitelist system
- /stop — server shutdown
- /save-on — automatic saving enabled
- /save-off — automatic saving disabled
- /save-all — forced world saving
Work Features
Commands work similarly to dedicated servers, with chat autocompletion and TAB player menu support. If any issues are found, they can be reported to developers.
Important Features
- Cheat mode must be disabled when opening LAN game
- Operator assignments and permission system work like on dedicated servers
- Server owner cannot be kicked or banned
- Operators cannot stop server unless they are the owner
- Players cannot kick or ban themselves
