Last Life
Welcome to my personal implementation of Grian's famous Last Life system! This datapack is entirely created from scratch by me and offers exciting social mechanics for your Minecraft world or server.
Installation and Usage
Simply download the datapack and place it in the appropriate folder of your world or server. After loading or executing the /reload command, you will receive a book with various settings and functions. The main options are at the beginning of the list, while the rest are intended for debugging and system status checks.
Main Features
Choosing the BoogeyMan (BM) - When this option is activated, a message is sent to all participants about the beginning of BoogeyMan selection. After a few seconds, the system will display a countdown and notify which player becomes the BoogeyMan in this round.
Distributing Lives - This function randomly distributes to all players a number of lives ranging from 2 to 6, creating unequal starting conditions for additional tension in the game.
Important Notes
The "failed hunt and turning red" mechanics are not yet implemented. If you need to apply this rule manually, use the command:
/scoreboard players set [player_name] Life 1
Replace [player_name] with the nickname of the player who failed to complete their task as the BoogeyMan.
When a player runs out of lives (reaches 0), they automatically switch to spectator mode. For detailed familiarization with the original Last Life rules, I recommend referring to the wiki guide.
