About the Mod

Leaves Be Gone dramatically speeds up the process of leaf disappearance after you cut down a tree. All leaves completely vanish in about one second, and this timing can be customized to your preferences. The main advantage of this mod is its high performance compared to similar solutions, as well as excellent compatibility with leaves from other mods!

Key Advantages

▶️ Automatic Compatibility with Other Mods All mods that register their leaves in the minecraft:leaves tag are automatically supported. This works even with leaves that don't inherit the standard leaf block from vanilla Minecraft.

▶️ Maximum Performance Leaves Be Gone operates extremely efficiently when determining which leaf blocks need accelerated decay. The mod integrates precisely at the moment when the game itself decides whether a leaf block can disappear, so it doesn't need to perform additional calculations. Unlike other similar mods, there are no additional block state checks when harvesting wood or when neighboring leaves decay.

▶️ Stable Operation During Reloads The leaf decay process is preserved using Minecraft's native scheduling system, so when an area is unloaded and reloaded, leaves continue to decay correctly without the need for repeated calculations or process interruption.

Configuration

If the mod supports configuration, it can be changed directly in the game through the mod menu (this requires Mod Menu installation on Fabric). On older versions of Minecraft, Forge Config Screens installation may also be required.

For manual configuration using a text editor, all configuration files are located in the .minecraft/config folder and are named MOD_ID-client.toml, MOD_ID-common.toml, or MOD_ID-server.toml depending on the configuration type. Not all types of configuration files may be present for a particular mod.
