Legacy Mechanics Mod
Legacy Mechanics is a modification that revives the very mechanics and nostalgic features from the old console versions of Minecraft. Designed for players who miss the gameplay from consoles - with compact worlds, unique mob behaviors, and classic item quirks.

- Increased fortune on melons — with Fortune III you can get up to 10 slices
- Smelting sand and red sand in blast furnaces

The following features are in development:
- Compact world type for console-style survival
- Closer structure placement to replicate console exploration
- Halved phantom health
- Reduced Vindicator damage
- Wandering traders selling lilacs, rose bushes, sunflowers, peonies, and red sandstone
🎨 Complete Immersion
For maximum nostalgic experience, it's recommended to install the Legacy Mechanics: Addon resource pack, which restores original Jack-O-Lantern and jungle sapling names, and transforms short grass to tall grass and tall grass to double tall grass.
🤝 Compatibility
The mod is designed for Minecraft 1.21.x and completely safe for multiplayer provided all participants have it installed. For proper functioning of some features, creating a new world or exploring uncharted chunks will be necessary.
📥 Installation
- Download the modification file
- Place it in the client's
mods/folder - Launch Minecraft with the installed mod loader
- Create a new world to activate console mechanics
All balancing changes are based on original values from Legacy Console Edition.
