[Legacy] Trade Booths Mod

This is a fixed version of the Trade Booths mod originally created by developer aeroc. The specific list of fixes has been lost, but it's known that they were critically important. The project was revived after four years of abandonment.

This project has legacy status. No updates are provided.

The modification introduces two special blocks for organizing automated trading between players, even when they are offline. This is particularly useful on multiplayer servers.

The system consists of two interconnected blocks. The first step is to create and place a storage block. After being placed in the world, this block is claimed by the first player who activates it. Afterwards, other participants cannot open or destroy such storage - it is used to store items involved in trade transactions.

The top block follows similar rules: it is fixed to the first player who activates it. For the system to function correctly, the top block must be placed directly above the storage block belonging to the same owner.

The top block contains 16 slots that form 8 separate trading positions. In each such pair, the item in the left slot defines the price, while the item in the right slot represents the goods that can be purchased.

Buyers complete transactions by simply left-clicking on the right slot of the desired pair. The system automatically checks the possibility of the transaction: the availability of necessary items in the owner's storage and the buyer's inventory, as well as sufficient space for the exchange.
