Lightning Podoboo

This mod transforms fire created by natural lightning into a purely decorative effect. Now during thunderstorms, your builds and surrounding trees are completely safe - lightning no longer destroys blocks!

You can safely keep the doFireTick gamerule enabled without worrying about random fires that could damage your creations or natural landscape.

Installation

The mod requires an installed Quilt Loader. Simply place the Lightning Podoboo file in the mods folder.

When used on a multiplayer server, players don't need to install this mod - it works exclusively on the server side.

Operation Features

The mod was created as a solution to the problem of random destruction from lightning, working in tandem with popular anti-ender-grief datapacks. It disables only one annoying game mechanic without causing side effects:

• Fire from other sources continues to destroy blocks as usual
• Lightning created using tridents spawns standard fire
• Players and other entities still take damage from lightning strikes
