
Lightweight Blood Mechanics
Lightweight Blood Mechanics is a compact mod that introduces realistic bleeding effects and health tracking system to the game. Battles now reach a completely new level of complexity - even after winning a fight, you might lose the battle due to blood loss.
Important Warning
The mod may create significant system load due to the large number of particles. Owners of weaker computers are recommended to configure settings to reduce the amount of visual effects.
Main Features
When starting survival mode, you'll immediately notice a new indicator to the right of the quick access panel. This scale displays the current blood loss level. A full scale means excellent condition, while a low level may cause dizziness. To recover, you need to use bandages and restore approximately 40% of blood. The regeneration process requires time and patience. With critical blood loss, vision completely disappears, leading to death from blood loss.
Fatal Bleeding
The most dangerous type of bleeding is fatal. It activates when losing 3 hearts of health or more and lasts 60 seconds. Each new injury extends the bleeding by 30 seconds. Without quick treatment, this type of wound guaranteed leads to death. Additionally, you leave bloody trails that can help your opponent track you.
Regular Bleeding
Standard bleeding is not fatal by itself, but in combination with other injuries can be fatal. Activates when receiving damage from 1.5 hearts. Initial duration is 60 seconds, each new wound adds 30 seconds. Although both types of bleeding are technically potion effects, they cannot be removed with milk - bandage use is required.
Bandages
Bandages are the only way to stop bleeding. Up to 64 can be stored in one stack, usage takes about 6.4 seconds. Bleeding stops instantly, but this is not enough for blood recovery. For regeneration, you need to have a full health bar, after which blood will slowly restore. Dizziness and blindness effects disappear only when the blood scale is half full and persist for 30 seconds.
Blood Particles
Blood particles are emitted from the body of any wounded creature. Fatal injuries produce more particles. Particles disappear after 2-2.5 minutes. Any hit stronger than 1.5 hearts causes additional bleeding and blood loss in the indicator, with the effect intensity depending on the damage strength.
Blood Pools from Impacts
During explosions, the effect becomes even more dramatic - DNA particles scatter across the surrounding area.

Zombie Blood
Dizziness Effect
Automatically activates with significant blood loss.
Configuration
The mod has extensive settings through the configuration file. Detailed parameter descriptions will be added later.
Installation Requirements
Lightweight Blood Mechanics requires Minecraft Forge and MDX. MDX is also available on CurseForge.
