Litematica
Litematica is a modern schematic mod specifically designed for lightweight mod loaders. It works excellently with LiteLoader in Minecraft 1.12.x, Rift in 1.13.x, and Fabric in versions 1.14 and above.
For the Forge version, support is only available in Minecraft 1.12.2. For newer versions, there are third-party ports such as Forgematica.
This mod includes all the main features of the old Schematica, plus many additional capabilities. However, the automatic printing function (printer) is not included - it's implemented in separate extensions, for example, aria1th printer or other similar mods.
Compatibility with Shaders
Important Note: In Minecraft versions 1.21.3 and newer, Litematica's rendering doesn't work properly with shaders, including Iris. If you need to use schematic display, temporarily disable shaders.
In older versions, compatibility is better, especially with Iris, but depends on the specific shader pack. Some shader packs can seriously disrupt the display. Optifine typically causes more problems - using shaders with Litematica is practically impossible with it. It's recommended to use Sodium and Iris instead of Optifine.
Main Hotkeys
The Litematica main menu opens by default with the M key.
Note: When using non-QWERTY keyboard layouts, hotkeys may differ (for example, M becomes , on AZERTY).
Other Frequently Used Combinations:
M + C- direct opening of settings menuM + R- toggle all Litematica rendering on/offM + G- toggle only schematic rendering ("ghost blocks")M + T- activate/deactivate tool functionality (default - stick)M + P- direct opening of schematic placements menuM + V- open schematic verifier menuNumPad minus- configuration menu for current placementNumPad multiply- area editor menuPage Up/Down- change selected layer in render settingsM + Page Up/Down- change render layers modeCtrl + scroll(with tool) - switch tool modeAlt + scroll(with tool) - move selected placement or areaCtrl + M- toggle submode for some tool modes
Multiplayer Warning
Easy Place mode can lead to bans on some servers!
This feature always clicks on air blocks in the target position, which is easily detected by anti-cheat systems. This can result either in block placement rejection (creating client-side "ghost" blocks) or automatic banning. Before using Easy Place, make sure it's allowed on the server!
Optifine Issues
Using Optifine is not recommended due to multiple rendering problems. It's better to choose Sodium and/or Iris for working with shaders.
If Optifine is installed, you may need to disable some options:
- When graphical artifacts appear as triangles in versions 1.16+, first update Litematica to the latest version. If that doesn't help, set shaders to
OFF(notInternal) and restart the game Render Regionsmost likely needs to be disabled to prevent strange schematic renderingFast Rendermay also require disabling for interface issues
